With 7 nominations (action, artistic achievement, best game, gameplay, multi-player, technical innovation and use of audio), Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood has scooped the most nominations for this years Bafta Video Games Awards, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops and Heavy Rain coming with six nominations and LIMBO & Super Mario Galaxy 2 with four nominations each.

Overall, the awards ceremony which will take place on 16 March in London, recognised a total of 44 games (in the 16 categories) such as, DJ Hero 2, Fable III, Plant vs Zombies XBLA, Football Manager 2011 and Gran Turismo 5.
Football Manager is an amazing game and should get more attention than it gets, in my opinion.
Who would have thought ‘Heavy Rain‘ would dominate the awards? 😀
Although I like Call of Duty:Black Ops better myself, I think I have to agree with Anthony and say that Assasin’s Creed Brother hood is going to sweep the awards. It’s what a game looks like when done right and not rushed.
yay! my favourite football manager is among nominants! hope it wins!
I certainly think Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will make a relative sweep of these awards. The overall production of the game is too polished and mind-blowingly addictive for it NOT to be kicking the competitor’s butts!
